RESOLUTION REGARDING APPLICATION OF SCRIBONE LLC FOR A NEW LICENSE
ABRA LICENSE #113253
WHEREAS, Scribone LLC (operating as Surfside) and referred to herein as the Applicant, has applied to District of Columbia Alcoholic Beverage Administration (ABRA) for a new alcohol beverage license at its premises located at 4200 Wisconsin Avenue NW (“Property”), ABRA-113253 and;
WHEREAS, the Applicant has agreed to the hours of operation and alcoholic beverage sales/service/consumption of Sunday through Thursday 11am – 1am, and Friday through Saturday of 11am – 2am; and
WHEREAS, the Applicant has agreed to the hours of alcoholic beverage sales/service/consumption for its outdoor café and summer garden of Sunday through Thursday 11am – 12am, and Friday through Saturday of 11am – 1am; and
WHEREAS, as the Applicant has proposed a twenty-four hour taco stand that will not serve alcohol, the Applicant has agreed to the hours of operation for its outdoor café and summer garden of Sunday through Saturday 12am – 12am (24-hour operations); and
WHEREAS, commissioners believe that with the stipulations Scribone has agreed to in the attached Voluntary Agreement, the license sought is unlikely to cause neighborhood problems,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, ANC 3E supports Scribone’s above-referenced application, provided that it adheres to the attached Voluntary Agreement. ANC 3E and Scribone respectfully ask ABRA to incorporate the terms of the Voluntary Agreement to the fullest extent possible in any order it issues regarding the subject matter; and be it further resolved
The Commission approved this resolution at its meeting on May 9th, 2019, which was properly noticed and at which a quorum was present. The resolution was approved by a vote of x-x-x. Commissioners Bender, McHugh, Hall, Quinn and Ehrhardt were present.
