Robbery (4 Total)

  • Sunday, November 3 4:38 PM: 4522 block of 45th St NW: CCN 19197236. A group of juveniles approached a male and assaulted him and took his vehicle’s car key out of his pocket.  The suspects were not able to steal the vehicle as a witness approached scaring the juveniles off.  No solid lookout on the suspects.
  • Thursday, November 14 at 2:40 PM: 4200 block of Davenport St NW: CCN 19204000. Three individuals were sitting on the park bench when approached by a suspect who brandished a firearm and demanded their property.  Taken was a phone and US Currency. Lookout for a white male suspect.
  • Friday, November 15 at 4:15 PM: 4600 block of 38th St NW: CCN 19204754. The victim made a prearranged deal to sell some sneakers via a mobile app.  When he got in the vehicle of the individuals whom he planned to sell the property too, they brandished firearms and demanded his property.  Taken was some AirPods, iPhone, sneakers, and US Currency.  Lookout for three male suspects wearing all black.
  • Saturday, November 23 at 5:52 PM: 3800 block of Huntington St NW: CCN 19209989. The female victim was approached by a male subject who snatched her purse off her shoulder.  Taken was her purse, iPhone, and misc. documents. No solid lookout.

Burglary (1 Total)

  • Sunday, November 24, 8:00 PM: 4300 block of Yuma St NW: CCN 19210647. Two suspects entered the home and stole property from one of the occupants. MPD believes this is an isolated incident.

Motor Vehicle Theft (2 Total)

  • Sunday, November 3, between 4:00 PM and 6:30 PM: 4200 block of River Rd NW: CCN 19197305. A moped was stolen while parked in the rear alley of the location. No suspect lookout.
  • Thursday, November 28 between 7:30 PM and 8:30 PM:  4600 block of 41st St NW. CCN 191212963. The owner parked the vehicle with the keys in the ignition and the vehicle running with the doors unlocked. A suspect then entered her vehicle and drove away. The vehicle was recovered in the third district.
