Resolution Regarding Request for Modification to Liquor License for Kitty O’Shea’s, ABRA-083505
WHEREAS, McFadden & Sullivan, LLC (“McFadden”) has sought permission from the District of Columbia Alcoholic Beverage Administration (ABRA) to extend the hours it may serve liquor at its outside café and to permit live music at a restaurant / bar called “Kitty O’Shea’s” (“O’Shea’s”) it operates at 4624 Wisconsin Avenue, N.W., and
WHEREAS, commissioners believe that the changes sought will afford local residents with additional, desired options for entertainment and outside seating, and
WHEREAS, commissioners believe that with the stipulations McFadden has agreed to in the attached Voluntary Agreement, the license sought is unlikely to cause neighborhood problems,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, ANC 3E supports McFadden’s above-referenced application, provided that it adheres to the attached Voluntary Agreement. ANC 3E and McFadden respectfully ask ABRA to incorporate the terms of the Voluntary Agreement to the fullest extent possible in any order it issues regarding the subject matter.
ANC 3E approved this resolution at its meeting on August 15, 2012, which was properly noticed and at which a quorum was present. The resolution was approved by a vote of 5-0-0. Commissioners Jonathan Bender, Mathew Frumin, Tom Quinn, Sam Serebin, and Beverly Sklover were present.
