Motor Vehicle Theft (3 Total)
- Monday, June 19 at 1:15 PM; 4200 block of Harrison St, NW; CCN 23098621. The respondent reported leaving the listed vehicle with the keys and registration inside the vehicle. When he returned, the vehicle was stolen by unknown suspect(s). The listed vehicle was recovered on June 22, in the 1600 block of 4th St NW and was occupied. One individual was placed under arrest for Unlawful Entry of a Motor Vehicle.
- Monday, June 19 at 3:53 PM; 4200 block of Wisconsin Ave, NW; CCN 23098660. Victim 2 stated that he parked his vehicle in the 3900 block of Van Ness Street NW and got out of his vehicle to drop a package off. Victim 1 was left in the vehicle in the front passenger seat with the vehicle running. Victim 2 heard Victim 1 screaming and returned to the vehicle to see the Suspect in the driver’s seat of his vehicle. The Suspect drove away in the vehicle and collided with the front of DCFD Ambulance. The Suspect then fled and was later arrested for the Stolen auto, Leaving after colliding, and a Bench Warrant out of DC Superior Court for Simple Assault.
- Monday, June 19 at 5:30 PM; 5300 block of 43rd St NW, NW; CCN 23098692. Respondent 1 reported that he was making a delivery for Door Dash in the 5300 block of 43rd Street NW. The suspect entered the listed vehicle as the Respondent was walking back to the listed vehicle. The suspect was last seen travelling south bound in the 5300 block of 43rd street NW. The vehicle was found with both tags attached and in a drivable condition with front end damage. An arrest was made of two individuals.
