Crime Details by Category:
Robbery (1 Total):
- Friday, August 29 at 4:07 PM on the 5200 block of Wisconsin Ave NW; CCN 25131961. The suspect entered the Bank of America at 5201 Wisconsin Ave NW. The suspect gave the teller a note which said “This is a Robbery! Do not hit alarm and no dye pack. Please do as I say. Nobody will get shot!!”. The teller stepped back to a spot where the suspect could not see them and showed the note to a coworker. The coworker pressed the alarm button and the suspect then left the bank. On August 31, 2025, at approximately 1910 hours, the suspect was located and placed under arrest for Robbery of an Establishment with the assistance of the Metro Transit Police and National Guard.
