  1. Announcements / Open Forum– opportunity for members of the community to raise issues of concern or importance to the 3E neighborhood (15 minutes)
  2. Presentation by 2nd District Police (10 minutes)
  3. Presentation by Friends of Friendship Park regarding Turtle Park Mayfair and possible vote on letter in support of the fair (10 minutes)
  4. Discussion and possible vote on resolution regarding liquor license renewal for Rodman’s (5 minutes)
  5. Discussion of and possible vote on resolution regarding special exception application for relief from lot occupancy and semi-detached rear wall requirements to permit construction of a rear addition and an accessory garage at 4526 43rd Place (15 minutes)
  6. Discussion of and possible vote on liquor license for Trader Joe’s coming to Chevy Chase Pavilion (15 minutes)
  7. Discussion of and possible vote on resolution regarding exception to chain store prohibition in PUD order for UIP building at 4600 Wisconsin to permit European Wax Center as a tenant (tentative agenda item) (15 minutes)
  8. Presentation regarding plans by Wesley Theological Seminary to seek amendment of the Zoning Code to permit it and Landmark Properties to build a combined dorm for Wesley and apartment building for American University students. (30 minutes)

Virtual Meeting Procedures

  1. Attendees are required to pre-register for the Zoom meeting by clicking on the “Join Zoom Meeting” link below. The registration should be done on a computer and not a mobile device.
  2. We expect all attendees to be civil and engage in a respectful discourse.
  3. All attendees will be muted by the meeting host. When recognized to speak, the meeting host will unmute the attendee.
  4. After a presenter completes his or her presentation, attendees will be given an opportunity to ask their questions or make comments followed by Commissioners.
  5. During meetings, residents should use the raise hand to request to comment and they will then be recognized by the chair. Attendees may also us the chat function to make comments.
  6. Attendees will have an opportunity to be heard once on an issue before anyone is heard twice.
  7. If many attendees want to speak on an issue, priority will be given to ANC3E residents first and then if time allows, residents who live outside of ANC3E will be recognized.
